Meet Dr. Vaughan
A native of Brookhaven, MS, and the middle of three daughters, Dr. Vaughan started her career in medicine as a research technician in Department of Physiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She then completed medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the rest is history–she found her passion for women’s health in obstetrics and gynecology.
After a stint in the Baltimore, MD for residency at the University of Maryland, she was more than happy to move back to the South to settle in Richmond. Dr. Vaughan and her husband Bo are now raising their children, Rosalie and Marshall here in Richmond. When she is not busy caring for her patients, Dr. Vaughan enjoys music, group exercise, theater, running, reading, and spending time with her husband and children. She is also certified in advanced open water scuba diving and loves spending time at the beach.
