Meet Dr. Pound

Playing host to four pre-teens, two dogs, three cats and countless neighborhood friends, the Pound household is never short on fun. Dr. Pound is blessed to have four wonderful children and a beautiful wife whom he most admires for her endless supply of energy and unfailing generosity. Having been together since high school, they have lived and spent time in Michigan (Go Blue!), North Carolina, Crozet, VA, and are now firmly settled in Moseley and feel blessed to call Richmond their home.

At the office, Dr. Pound and his nurse Cynthia strive to provide a balance of the professional care you expect with the personal care and attention you deserve. No matter your concerns, he will sit down with you, listen actively, and engage you in shared decision-making when determining a course of treatment. As any of his patients can attest, you will never see him in a bad mood. (And if you do, you are welcome to call him on it.)

On weekends, you will find Dr. Pound woodworking in his garage, cheering at his kids’ sporting events, embarrassing his daughter by trying to learn dance choreography, and corralling his two golden doodles as they try to say “hi” to everyone in the neighborhood! He is a practicing Christian and strives to treat everyone he encounters with love and grace. He loves spending time with the friends he calls family and enjoying all that Richmond has to offer.
