Meet Dr. Coble
A native of Gastonia, North Carolina, Dr. Mary Lynn Coble and her husband Will (a cardiologist) settled their family in Richmond in 2004, and she has been part of the VPFW family ever since. She and her medical assistant Kim have been a team for over 20 years now! Her favorite activity outside of work is spending time with her family, so it’s no wonder that the biggest highlight of her job is getting to see people’s joy at the delivery of a baby. What an honor to be a part of that experience!
Dr. Coble has also had the honor of serving as the Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Mary’s Hospital, where she is an active member of the Medical Executive Committee.
When she’s not busy caring for her patients, Dr. Coble can be found reading, skiing, playing pickleball, traveling, or relaxing with the family dog, Birdie. She’s also an avid fan of her alma mater and is known to root for the Clemson Tigers!
